It is crazy to think that today was the day we were all supposed to return to school after what was originally a temporary school closure. All of us teachers wish we were able to be in the building, but it is imperative that we keep one another safe and healthy at this time. We hope you are all reading the emails we send out detailing what the week will look like and the assignments that are due. Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed a great spring break! I am sure you all enjoyed your vacations to exotic places around the world and that you are all looking super tan. Welcome to our first week of new learning! First thing you should know, is that all PE teachers sent out an email today that details what the rest of the semester will look like. Please, please, please read it and make sure you understand everything that is changing for this semester. If you have any questions about the email, please email your teacher. We will continue to post different physical activity suggestions on this website for you all if you are getting bored of going on neighborhood walks. We will start using Microsoft Teams regularly so please take time this week to familiarize yourself with the site and how it works. The running program perfectly goes from this week until the last week of school so it would be a cool thing to work towards before summer break. It also provides just simple running workouts if you are just looking for some type of physical activity irregularly.
Hello again Patriot Family! We hope you are all staying safe and not getting too bored while being stuck at home! This week is supposed have nice weather so we encourage you to find a way to get outside for a walk, a bike ride, some yard work, or play a game with family outside. This week, we have posted three more YouTube links to some 30 minute workouts. Also, we encourage you all to be creative in different ways to stay active. One way the Foote family stays active is by playing footgolf around the yard or in any large space. You just pick a target and count how many strokes (kicks) it takes for you to reach your target. If you do not like soccer, you can play with a frisbee, whiffle ball, football, or whatever other sports equipment you have at the house. Try to be respectful of other people's property while playing, but this is a favorite summer game of the Foote family. Have fun, get outside this week, and stay active!
