Week 1 - 3/23/20 Hey Everyone! I can’t believe we are out of school for another month. I’m sure you are all a little more thrilled than I am about this situation. Believe it or not, I actually miss you. I know, I’ll stop being cheesy and get to the point of this post. Each week I will be posting a number of resources that you can use to stay fit during your time at home. My hope is that you would try to pursue a healthy lifestyle even with the limited resources you have at home. I have put together 3 workouts a week that involve predominantly body weight type exercises. At the bottom of the google sheet you’ll see a tab that clarifies each week. Within the google sheet there is also a cardiovascular recommendation to do at some point throughout the week. There are also some new exercises listed for some of the circuits. I’ve tried to provide a link for these, but if you have any questions, please feel free to email for clarification. Link to Home workouts Another resource that I’ve decided to present to you on a weekly basis is a workout video from youtube that you can use within your home. Generally, these workouts are HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts. They are exactly what they sound like. They are intense and use intervals to get a good sweat going. The following video has some great music that goes along with it, a timer for each exercise and an instructor. It is beginner, 20 minute HIIT workout.
